Why Change is Good

The holidays are over and it’s time to focus on the year to come. But before we look forward with anticipation for what’s in store for the 3rd Act’s future, I want to begin with an appreciation for Bev Scott and for our more than four years of work together. She has been a wonderful support and a 3rd Act inspiration herself. During our collaboration, we have faced many challenges including learning about social media and all that it takes to market a business in the 21st Century. What a steep learning curve for both of us! It was Bev’s smart and caring partnership that nurtured the business forward. Working as a team, we created a dynamic website, two 3rd Act workbooks, over 100 blogs, a quarterly newsletter and successful workshops from the Bay Area to Washington DC and finally at Esalen. It has been quite a ride. ( Thank goodness she has agreed to continue to write blogs from time to time and to be available for guidance as the founder of The 3rd Act).

Thank you, Bev!

I am excited to be continuing on with The 3rd Act work with new partnerships and materials. Next month you will be hearing from Kerry Elkind who will be joining me in presenting a Fall workshop for women at Bishop’s Ranch in Healdsburg, California. I am planning to schedule two additional workshops including one focused on couples in 2013 . . . stay tuned. New 3rd Act materials are in the planning stages for the website, plus the continuation of monthly blogs and guest blogs as well as quarterly newsletters.

Finally, I want to express my gratitude to the nearly one thousand people who have joined The 3rd Act mailing list. Your support through emails, calls and letters and the 3rd Act transformations we have seen in peoples’ lives through our workshops and individual coaching has kept us going since 2008. Stay with us . . . there is more to come.
